Admissions

Admission is by application only. Each applicant in grade 1 - 12 must submit a transcript and discipline record from the school(s) previously attended. The transcript information is evaluated by the School Counselor and the Headmaster who determine final admission and placement. Additionally, admission shall be based on a personal interview with the parents and the student. Acceptance is also subject to vacancies in a particular grade. Registration fees must be paid prior to scheduling.

Students who are pregnant or who have become a parent, who are married or have been married, or who have passed their nineteenth (19th) birthday may not be enrolled at Randolph Southern School.

Students entering K4 must be four years old before September 1. Students entering K5 (Kindergarten) must be five years old before September 1. Students entering first grade must be six years old before September 1.

Information concerning registration is published in area newspapers in January. Additional information about the admissions process is available in the school office.

  1. Existing students may register Feb. 8 - 19, 2010
  2. New students may register for admissions Feb. 22 - Mar. 5, 2010
  3. Notice: K4 students must be 4 years old by September 1 and will be accepted on first come basis.

Registration for K-4 and K-5 students includes copies of the following:
•  Certificate of Live Birth
•  Certificate of Ear/Eye/Dental exam (Health Department Form 3300)
•  Certificate of Immunization
•  Pre-School Certificate - Form 3231 for K-4
•  Form 3231 for K5 students

Applications for new students in grades 1 - 12 will be accepted for classes with vacancies. All admissions are the decision of the RSS Admissions Committee.

IMPORTANT NOTICE -
Adopted by RSS Board of Trustees January 30, 2009

  1. All payments are due by the 10th of each month.
  2. A $50.00 late fee will be added if not paid by the 10th of the month.
  3. All accounts must be cleared by April 15th.
  4. All families who have a graduating senior must clear accounts by April 1st.
  5. No students will be issued books until the registration fee and book/technology fees are all paid.

$100.00 late fee will be applied if not registered during alotted time.
